New Era Fiber was founded in 2000 in Dawsonville, GA. We have a reputation for providing quality yarns to our customers, winning many AOBA awards for mill skein yarns.
In July of 2005 the company was sold to Karl and Jan Heinrich of Long Hollow Suri Alpacas and was relocated to Lebanon, TN.
Using the same equipment used since the inception of New Era Fiber, the process has been streamlined and enhanced to provide full time processing of huacaya, suri and llama fiber. The quality customers have come to expect from New Era continues today.
You can be assured that each fleece is treated like our own, and processed to meet the expectations of your spinning, knitting, and weaving customers.
In October of 2008, New Era Fiber was relocated to Gallatin, TN. In our new and improved facility we continue to produce award winning yarn.
